How important is reading to a writer’s career?
How important are readers to a writer?
What books make writers want to be writers?

Avid reader, editor and radio producer Rachel Edwards (aka Paige Turner) will sit down with Tasmanian writers Adam Ouston (aka Costume), Pete Hay and Ben Walter to discuss what reading means to them and how books have shaped their lives. They will also be discussing what it means to be shortlisted for a Tasmanian Premier’s literary prize.

Adam Ouston won the 2017 University of Tasmania prize and was shortlisted for the 2015 University of Tasmania prize. Pete Hay was shortlisted for the 2017 and 2013 Tasmania Book prize. Ben Walter has been longlisted for the 2019 Margaret Scott prize and was shortlisted for the 2017, 2015 and 2013 University of Tasmania prize.
